The places I have discovered

  • O Leme restaurant is at the train stop 10 minutes from the house. They cook fish and Portuguese dishes.
  • Amanti Parchal restaurant - Grill and Pizza. They cook excellent beef and it is also 10 minutes from the house.
  • Crocante pastry shop, they have excellent coffee and desserts. Their famous dessert is Pastel de Nata.
  • On the left side of the road from the house - when you reach the end of the street, turn left. You will pass old houses with descriptive numbers 1,2,3 etc. At the end of the street there is a restaurant where locals share a drink together - beer, coffee or wine.

A small fishing town with white houses, tiny streets, cafés by the water and beautiful beaches. Ideal place for a morning coffee, a dinner or an evening walk.

Portimão

A lively town by the seaside with restaurants, shops, marina, night life and big sand beaches. Every year MotoGP Portugal Grand Prix takes place here. This year it is Friday 20.11 – 22.11.2026
